Hi Bob-N-Mo, and welcome to the wonderful world of the Friends of the Mountain Dulcimer.  It's a good place to come, spend some time, learn about the dulcimer, and to meet some good people.

I appreciate your welcomes into the group. I'll be doing lots of looking around for a bit to get my feet wet, so to speak. It's nice to see the group here for an instrument so much a part of America's history. I was in a guitar shop yesterday looking for a soft pick and when the store's owner had no idea what a mountain dulcimer is, I had to realize we got to get more people aware and interested.  Departed ol' Jim Varney gave it a shot but was kinda blown off on TV.
