Welcome, Brad to Friends of the Mountain Dulcimer. I hope you get one soon. So glad you have joined. This is a great community of folks more than willing to share their knowledge and experience. Wishing you well on your dulcimer journey.

As for Annie Oakley; I don't think she played any musical instruments. I was born in the same county as she was in Ohio and have studied her life a good bit including the several rooms devoted to her in the Garst Museum in Greenville Ohio.
