Thank you for having a community site. I am a new player and just had my first workshop "lesson" with Stephen Seifert. He is amazingly blessed as both a dulcimer player/musician, and also as a teacher. He opened the world of "making music" to me. I have been toddling along on my own, watching youtube videos and getting some good information from Brett Ridgeway videos recently. But actually being with other people in an instruction setting, all playing melodics that sounded beautiful on their own, was amazing. So now I see the benefit of the whole dulcimer community for support of each other.
Hi Hand, and welcome to the wonderful world of the Friends of the Mountain Dulcimer. It's a good place to come, spend some time, learn about the dulcimer, and to meet some good people.
Welcome CaUS Hands to Friends of the Mountain Dulcimer. Glad you joined. This is a great community of folks who love the mountain dulcimer. Post comments and ask questions. We are here to support you as you learn. Best wishes on your dulcimer journey.
