Thanks everybody.  I've been reading and learning and see that there are lots of helpful people on here.  I'm sure I have a ton of questions about this wonderfully interesting instrument.

I'm hoping with lots of practice I can finally get some music out of mine.  I know it's in there, I just haven't figured out the combination to open it up like it should..

Welcome, loadedcamera, to this little corner of dulcimer heaven. You don't see too many of Paul Pyle's instruments around.  I have one of his small ones, hummingbird.  Since I've played a Gibson Hummingbird guitar for years, I just had to have it.  LOL Hope you enjoy it here.
