Welcome Chris_s to Friends of the Mountain Dulcimer. Glad you joined. This is wonderful place to hang out, learn and get all your dulcimer questions answered. Let us know if we can help you. Congrats on the Warren May dulcimer. I am sure you will enjoy. He is a superb craftsman. Best wishes on your dulcimer journey.
Thank you Ken and Ben. I am new to the dulcimer but have dabbled with other instruments of the stringed family. I actually don’t have a dulcimer yet…BUT I DO have one on the way due to arrive tomorrow by end of day. She’s a ‘96 Warren A. May with no half frets. Should be perfect for delving into DAA and like 1-5-5 tunings. I’m looking forward to gratefully and graciously enjoying this instrument and the journey on which we are about to embark.
Welcome to FOTMD, Chris_s. It is good to have you aboard. I look forward to your participation in these discussions. Let us know if we can help you in any way along your dulcimer journey.
