Keith Y's teardrops-- I've owned two and still have one-- have a wonderful and unique sound.  I once heard the described as a pebble hitting water down in a well and thought how that description fit in some strange way.  

Yes, the tuning beads are ingenious.

I'm learning to appreciate it more and more - little things like the fine tuning 'slides' are just ingenious.

That is an instrument to treasure.  Keith was a true craftsman.
