I'm a grumpy 66yr old (currently nearly 67 for pete's sake!), who loves all kinds of music. I play guitar (after a fashion), used to ride motorbikes a lot, not sure if I'm still into photography or not. Always loved the dulcimer, but never tried playing it, until now. I've just recently purchased a McSpadden from a UK player, but I want to modify it.
Hi Dock, and welcome to the wonderful world of the Friends of the Mountain Dulcimer. It's a good place to come, spend some time, learn about the dulcimer, and to meet some good people.
Ben
I you ordered a replacement nut and bridge from McSpadden you should have no problem changing them out. You may need to adjust the height, but that is a simple matter of sanding the bottoms of each one. I'm sure you are familiar with the process. If you encounter any problems, just let us know.
