Hi Don, and welcome to the wonderful world of the Friends of the Mountain Dulcimer. It's a good place to come, spend some time, learn about the dulcimer, and to meet some good people.
Wow! Thanks to all of you for the welcomes! I’m happy to be here. I was active on ED, but that’s over now. Too bad, but I’m thankful there are other places to go!
Some other stuff about me folks might be interested in: I am a member of a folk music band, the Pic-a-Longs, where I play hammered dulcimer, mandolin, and harp. I co-founded the French Creek Valley Dulcimer Club last year, and we know have nearly 30 members! And I actually had an article published in Dulcimer Players News year, on the subject of choosing the ideal string gauges for your dulcimer.
