Thank you all for the very warm welcome! I've been doing research on what type of dulcimer to buy. I keep thinking I have it all figured out, and then come up with even more questions. To keep it simple - as someone who is new to playing any kind of instrument, would you recommend a 3 or 4 string dulcimer? Also, are there tuning peg styles that are best for a beginner? I don't want to have to spend a lot of time tuning the instrument or fighting to restring it if necessary.
