Hi Jed, and welcome to the wonderful world of the Friends of the Mountain Dulcimer. It's a good place to come, spend some time, learn about the dulcimer, and to meet some good people.
Welcome EntomologistJed to Friends of the Mountain Dulcimer. Glad you joined. It is so good that you are learning to play while in Kentucky. A lot of the older (1800's) traditional players and builders came from Kentucky. It is a state rich in the history of the dulcimer. This is a great place to learn and make many dulcimer friends. Best wishes on your dulcimer journey.
Welcome, Jed, to this little corner of dulcimer heaven. "The Old Churchyard" is a great song and sounds good on the dulcimer. Hope you enjoy it here.
Rob
