Exactly. indoor trampoline is good for fitness. Jumping on it is enough for 15 minutes. Many years ago I used to do some training in a garage on a mini trampoline, mainly when there was too much ice/snow to train effectively outside. I'm not sure anyone can advise you but just try it and see here - if it's not hurting your ankle maybe it's worth a shot. For me I found it similar to other cross-training but not as good as running. You can definitely get a good aerobic workout in and it is strengthening also, but in a different way than running.
