I had a fourth string option added, plus additional frets at 1.5 and 8.5.
Tuned in traditional DADd tuning (though no 4th string was added) with strap buttons and a hard shell case.. According to the label: body is African ribbon mahogany and the top is redwood with ebony overlay
With the extra frets and string, one can play enharmonic (traditional) and chromatic (blues, jazz and swing).
I bought it in 2020 thinking with Covid, I'd have plenty of time to learn how to play. Strangely enough, I was busier than ever playing recitals and driveway concerts on other instruments.
It has maybe an hour of playing time, so it is just like new. Not a mark on it.
The desert motif is a very personal design, my parents having lived in Arizona.
Comes in a hardshell case.
