I've been playing American Roots Music primarily on the harmonica since settling in Morgantown, West Virginia as a teenager.
My style has been influenced by the music I love - old-time fiddle tunes, rural black and white string bands, and classic honky-tonk and Chicago blues.
I've had the good fortune to perform with The Sun Records Rhythm Section (Elvis Presley's band), Hazel Dickens, Bo Diddley, Bruce Springsteen, Otis Rush, John Sebastian, Homesick James, BB King, and bluegrass and folk legend John Herald among many others.
Currently I teach Harmonica at the Jalopy School Of Music and perform regularly in and around New York City.
Hi Frenchharp, and welcome to the wonderful world of the Friends of the Mountain Dulcimer. It's a good place to come, spend some time, learn about the dulcimer, and to meet some good people.
