This is the second of 6 parts in Bach's cello suite 1. I'm working on finishing the rest in the near-ish future, and am really liking how it's turning out! It is a lot to memorize though. My plan is to record each part separately on the cardboard dulcimer, and then record it all together on the Blue lion dulcimer. I hope you enjoy!
This is a chromatic dulcimer tuned to DAD. (There are four tuners but I only have three strings on right now). It has a vsl of 58cm or 22.8 in.

This is extraordinary, Grant. I remember you asking if you should play this on your styro dulcimer or the Blue Lion and whether you should record each part separately or do it altogether. I guess you've chosen "all of the above."
I look forward to hearing more of this. It is impressive indeed.
Truly amazing Grant. You are so talented! This is so pretty.
I used to play cello in high school (pretty badly, could never play anything like this) and because I loved classical music as well, I always liked listening to the Bach cello suites even long after I stopped playing. I think I had a Pablo Casals LP record of it. You know, those weird black vinyl plates that would spin around on a machine with a needle. ;D
