Hi Jan, and welcome to the wonderful world of the Friends of the Mountain Dulcimer.  It's a good place to come, spend some time, learn about the dulcimer, and to meet some good people.

Ben

So glad you joined Jankdc. Welcome to Friends of the Mountain Dulcimer. Like Kenl said this is a very knowledgeable and caring community. We want to be with you as you take your dulcimer journey. We are here for you. Best wishes as you learn.

Welcome to FOTMD, Jankdc. It's good to have you aboard. The mountain dulcimer is easy to play, but it can also be somewhat complicated depending upon what style of playing one chooses. Don't let that frighten you! Skills build as one learns. Have fun exploring FOTMD. Let us know if you have any questions as your begin your dulcimer journey. This is a supportive and knowledgeable group of mountain dulcimer enthusiasts who are here to support each other. I look forward to your participation here.
