Hi Jim, and welcome to the wonderful world of the Friends of the Mountain Dulcimer.  It's a good place to come, spend some time, learn about the dulcimer, and to meet some good people.

Ben

Welcome to FOTMD Jim. It's alway good to have another Pennsylvanian aboard; especially one who lives over in the next county. I live in Mifflin County. I trust you will enjoy your time here.

I live in a small town between to bigger towns. Herminie to the East and Lowber to the West. No you would never pass through Cowansburg. No where near a major hiway. As for dulcimer groups in your area. Check on line. Might find some to the East of where you live. I have to go to WV to find anyone to jam with.

Welcome, Jim, to this little corner of dulcimer heaven.  Looks like you're about 3 hours to Morgantown, WV.  Consider coming to our Fall Wartz'n'All Dulcimer Gathering.  You'll meet some other players and have some great musical fun! Hope you enjoy it here.

Rob
