Hi Jkamp09, and welcome to the wonderful world of the Friends of the Mountain Dulcimer. It's a good place to come, spend some time, learn about the dulcimer, and to meet some good people.

Congrats jkamp09 on learning to play your dulcimer. Welcome to Friends of the Mountain Dulcimer. There are some on the forum who prefer to play noter drone style. Please ask if you have questions. We'll find you an answer.
Welcome to FOTMD, Jkamp09. It's good to have you aboard. This is a knowledgeable and friendly group of mountain dulcimer enthusiasts. We will be happy to answer a questions when and if have them. BTW, you might also be interested in this group: It concentrates on noter/drone playing and building instruments for that style of playing. We even have a Zoom group that meets on Tuesday evenings at 8:30 p.m (Eastern time). We generally play 5 songs a night and chat a little bit. New players are always welcome. Enjoy exploring the resources here at FOTMD. I look forward to seeing you in our discussions.
