Hi Joel,  Here's some info about Gerald Titus. I met him going by the name Je (pronounced Jay)Titus back in 1970 here on Vancouver Island. He was originally from Ames Iowa, and had moved north from Berkley in '69. He was an active luthier in Vancouver and on Pender Island. I learned dulcimer building skills from him there, and together we built many instruments of mahogany ply to make them affordable to the "youthful masses" of that era. He later settled on Hornby Island around 1974 building quality dulcimers and Irish harps. Since then, I've heard he moved back to Vancouver in the 1980s and I've been unfortunately unable to track him since.

Hope this is helpful, and I'd be greatly interested in any subsequent info you might gain about Je

Good to have you here, Joel!  I live just the next county south of Licking County OH and have been to Granville many times.  So lucky you were there when Anne Grimes was still living and in Granville!
