Thanks, Ben and Ken! My local jam is a broad church, and they include a range of folk and traditional music and diverse range of instruments. I can’t wait to get started with learning this beautiful instrument.

Hi KikiDee, and welcome to the wonderful world of the Friends of the Mountain Dulcimer.  It's a good place to come, spend some time, learn about the dulcimer, and to meet some good people.

Welcome to FOTMD KikiDee. It's good to have you aboard. I'm sure you are aware that the mountain dulcimer is not a traditional bluegrass music instrument. That doesn't mean that you can't play bluegrass music on it. But that is a discussion for another time. You will find that this a wonderful group of mountain dulcimer enthusiasts with a vast knowledge of the instrument, its history, building, and playing. I look forward to your participation here.

Ken
