I think you will enjoy this website, welcome! In order to see replies to group discussions you will need to join the group that the discussion is in. Just click on the name of the group, for example "Beginner Players" or "Dulcimer Making" and there will be a button in the top right area of the screen that says "Join Group" 

Welcome, friend, from one of "the builders" on this site.  One of my colleagues or I can point you in the direction you want to go!  This is a fun place to be a part of.  Have a great day!
