Attended another Jessica Comeau workshop today. One of the songs we learned was Auld Lang Syne. I love that song, I get super sentimental on New Year's Eve. And this year...well. Anyway, this is my rendition of her arrangement--I didn't try to get cute, since I was just learning it.

Thank you for your kind words, @jost!

Nice playing. And high respect to your profession. I think it's quite important that everybody can get legal aid no matter the personal financial resources. So thanks for your service.

Thank you! I'm a civil legal aid attorney, and it's been a weird/stressful year. We expect a deluge of evictions and foreclosures to deal with when the moratoria are lifted, which will likely be sometime in 2021 at this point. I plan to send the mp3 of this to my teammates (as a surprise sort of gift) at our last weekly meeting of the year later this week.  Wonder what they'll think of it...

2020, don't let the door hit your butt on the way out!!!  I always ponder the year that was and wonder what the coming year holds (as I partake of champagne and my annual seafood gumbo). We always celebrate at home, just the two of us, so that won't be any different this year.  But a lot to ponder and wonder about, for sure.

I think we'll be taking a rather lonely wee dram this New Year's Eve, which makes your playing all the more sentimental. Thanks Lisa.

Lisa, your lovely play of this wonderful old song strikes just the right mood.
