Hi Majek, and welcome to the wonderful world of the Friends of the Mountain Dulcimer. It's a good place to come, spend some time, learn about the dulcimer, and to meet some good people.
Glad you joined, Majek888. Welcome to Friends of the Mountain Dulcimer. Getting your first dulcimer is sometimes daunting. Kenl has offered some good advice. We are here to help so feel free to ask questions. Check your private messages.
Welcome to FOTMD Majek888. It's good to have you aboard. You might get better responses on what dulcimer to purchase if you can give an idea of how much you want to spend. That will help determine if it should be used or new. Also, it helps to know what type of music you want to play. Start a thread in one of the forums, either General Discussions or instruments perhaps. Be prepared for a variety of responses. Everyone has a favorite builder. Also some of the instruments built outside of USA tend to be spotty in workmanship and set up although they are inexpensive. I've played some good ones though.
