Hi Mawhee, and welcome to the wonderful world of the Friends of the Mountain Dulcimer. It's a good place to come, spend some time, learn about the dulcimer, and to meet some good people.

I’m a great grandma was one of John’s daughters (Liddy Lou Joiner). I have her dulcimer, I believe it’s the oldest one known dated 1877
So glad you joined the forum Mawheegranddaughter. Welcome to a wonderful mountain dulcimer forum. Lots of information here. Perhaps you can add some we do not know from your family history.
Welcome to FOTMD Mawhee Granddaughter. Your grandfathers dulcimers are legendary among the folks in the mountain dulcimer community. I don't know if you will find any new to you information here, but have fun exploring this site. Let us know if you have any questions.
