I have just moved from Berea, KY to Lexington, MI. I have had a lot of interaction with folk and bluegrass music from porch pickin' to Professional music events. This has been quite a change but I am finding several bluegrass events and groups in the area. My son is currently attending The Kentucky Center for Traditional Music at Morehead State University in Morehead, KY and he also is a member of the Kentucky Just Us band. A friend gave my son a Warren May dulcimer and he is too busy to play it right now so I have decided to take it on myself. Looking forward to connecting with other dulcimer players and learning as much as I can.

Hi Seaswmr, and welcome to the wonderful world of the Friends of the Mountain Dulcimer. It's a good place to come, spend some time, learn about the dulcimer, and to meet some good people.
