Thanks for the welcome. My wife is a dulcimer player and I play along with tenor or 5-string banjo. It is a Folkcraft bought at a folk music shop in Pennsylvania in 1988. It still sounds g reat. We used to go to a dulcimer retreat at French Creek State Park. Good music. Good people. Good times.
I am having a bit of trouble listing our folk musician's retreat on the events calendar. We are adding dulcimer workshops this year and I thought that some of you might be interested. http://marylandfolk.com/
Hi Pat, and welcome to the wonderful world of the Friends of the Mountain Dulcimer. It's a good place to come, spend some time, learn about the dulcimer, and to meet some good people.
I don't know if you would have known her or not but my wife was Pat Lankford. Her mother was Roxie Moore. We lived in Salisbury.

BTW I know about Crisfield, MD, but I never heard of Crisfield, VA! My late wife was from Crisfield, MD; I spent over 20 years on the Eastern Shore.
Hi there Patrick, welcome to FOTMD. I hope you enjoy the site.
