Hi Golden, and welcome back to the wonderful world of the Friends of the Mountain Dulcimer.  It's a good place to come, spend some time, learn about the dulcimer, and to meet some good people.

Thank you kindly, I’m sort of recycled back here.  I was a member in the old Ning <?> days.  I transferred here when the switch was made, but life happened and I sort of drifted on. The old email address back then is long gone so I re-registered.  I’m retired now, still have my Dulcimers though have gotten very rusty. (Me not the Dulcimers 😆 )

I have always been interested in a Bowed Psaltery and have just found one that needs a total restoration.  It has no pins, the bridge is broken, and some of the pin holes appear oversized, though the body looks good with no cracks that I can see in the pictures.  But woodworking is my forte so I am looking forward to working on it. I do not have it in hand yet, should arrive on Tuesday.

its 27” long, so I think it will make a good Baritone.
