Thanks for all the kind responses! I stumbled onto a couple of websites that had dulcimer playing stands that looked about like what I'm searching for. I also looked at other things and at Raylann's (spelling?) stands. Hers aren't what I'm really looking for. Now I'm unable to find ANY website with the stands I'm looking for. Joe Collins from Shelby, NC teaches lots of dulcimer classes and I love the stand he uses for playing. He had someone make his. Does anyone know of a website where I might find a similar style?
