Hi Rev., and welcome to the wonderful world of the Friends of the Mountain Dulcimer.  It's a good place to come, spend some time, learn about the dulcimer, and to meet some good people.

Welcome Revjosh to Friends of the Mountain Dulcimer. So glad you joined. This is a great community of folks who love the dulcimer. There is a group here called Old Style Drone and Noter Players that you may want to check out. Join in the discussions and ask questions as you have them We will do our best to find you an answer.

Hello Revjosh, welcome toFOTMD. This is a great place. Lots of experienced and beginner players, I think all are happy to answer questions. I am in northern Alberta about 40 or so miles north of Grande Prairie. Whereabouts in Saskatchewan are you located? I have found very few mountain dulcimer players in Western Canada. Glad to see you here!

Welcome to FOTMD Revjosh. It's good to have you aboard. Let us know what you want to discuss. I'm sure you will find some folks here who are happy to converse with you. I can imagine that dulcimer players are hard to find in Saskatchewan. If you can play your dulcimer in public, you might interest others in joining you. Then you'll have your own dulcimer community.
