I'm a retired IT Project Manager. My first instrument that I started to play was a baritone mountain dulcimer. Work prevented me from pursuing this instrument and eventually I joined a local string group and took up the Violin. That led to the Viola, Mandolin, Cello and classical guitar. This year I have gone back to the beginning and am now playing my standard dulcimer that I built years ago.
Rick,
We are just north of Gaylord, not too far from Torch Lake. A small world, indeed!

Hi Rich, and welcome to the wonderful world of the Friends of the Mountain Dulcimer. It's a good place to come, spend some time, learn about the dulcimer, and to meet some good people.
