Hi Rita, and welcome to the wonderful world of the Friends of the Mountain Dulcimer.  It's a good place to come, spend some time, learn about the dulcimer, and to meet some good people.

Ben

Thanks for the welcome, Ken!

Yes, the MBDC is still alive! I believe this marks 35 years, and the founders are still very active. We've had as many as 27 members, and there are 12 - 13 members at present. I've been a member since 2007, although I did take 4 years off to take care of my husband, who is doing much better these days. We're in the middle of Christmas concerts at present. The Cook Forest Roundups had stopped just about the time I joined. From what I've heard, I missed some wonderful get-togethers.

Welcome to FOTMD, Rita. It's good to have another Pennsylvania on board. Is the Misery Bay Dulcimer Club still going? I remember meeting some of the members at the Great Dulcimer Roundup held at Cook Forest State Park in the 1990s. I look forward to your participation here.
