At Just Strings, which Dan recommended you can also buy individual strings of the gauges you want to use. Since you have a five string dulcimer you may want to make up your own sets by buying a pack of 0.012 strings, another pack of 0.014 strings, etc. You can buy bulk packs of 12 strings of any size you want in both ball and loop end strings.

Glad you joined Roger Casey. Welcome to Friends of the Mountain Dulcimer. This is a great community with lots of information. Let us know of you have questions.
Welcome to FOTMD, Roger. It's good to have you aboard. From your profile I gather that you have a five string dulcimer. A 0.014 is typical for an A string on instruments with a 26" - 28.5" VSL. Your melody strings (next to your body) are typically 0.012 or 0.013. It sounds like the outward strings are tuned an octave apart. One is tuned "D" and the other "d" an octave higher.
