I too inherited a dulcimer from my dad - many years ago.  It is one of my most prized possessions and was the beginning of a love affair with this beautiful instrument!  I am so glad that you are learning to play your dulcimer and it will be so much more than just a keepsake!  Enjoy the journey 🎶😊
