Stats

I became the Texas State Champion in 2023 with only 6 months of experience playing the instrument and went on to become a National Finalist the same year. I work with National Champions Erin Mae Lewis and Kara Barnard. I am inspired by them along with so many other musicians. I enjoy teaching music. My primary instrument is vocals and I have some prior experience in Scruggs style Banjo. I play both 3 and 4 equidistant string dulcimer. I enjoy nearly all genres of music, but consider my personal style to be alternative folkgrass.

HI Sarah, and welcome to the wonderful world of the Friends of the Mountain Dulcimer.  It's a good place to come, spend some time, learn about the dulcimer, and to meet some good people.
