Hi Sam, and welcome to the wonderful world of the Friends of the Mountain Dulcimer.  It's a good place to come, spend some time, learn about the dulcimer, and to meet some good people.

Welcome to FOTMD ShirinSam. It's good to have you aboard. Let us know if have any questions about cleaning up your dulcimer. Some of us are experienced at cleaning and restoring vintage dulcimers. Perhaps you can share a photo of the dulcimer and tell us what you plan to do to restore it. Then we can offer advice on how to go about it.
