Hi Star, and welcome to the wonderful world of the Friends of the Mountain Dulcimer. It's a good place to come, spend some time, learn about the dulcimer, and to meet some good people. I understand about your mom and dementia as my mom had it; but she passed away a year ago.
Welcome to Friends of the Mountain Dulcimer. Glad you joined. Glad you are coming back to the mountain dulcimer. Lots of resources here including some very experienced and knowledgeable people. Best wishes on your dulcimer journey.
thank you so much for adding me. I used to take lessons from Cyntia Smith and I always had plans to have an Aeolus dulcimer built. But life got confusing and crazy for awhile. And I lost touch with the entire folk community. I’m hoping I will be welcomed back. I have a beautiful Blue Lion dulcimer. But I probably need to have it checked, to make sure all the joints are still sound and everything?

Your Blue Lion is a treasure, Star2fire-- enjoy! (I love my Blue Lion-- was playing it earlier this morning.) Welcome to FOTMD!
Welcome to FOTMD from another Blue Lion owner, Star2fire. It is good to have you aboard. I look forward to your participation in these discussions.
