West Virginia Hills - A W Jeffreys Dulcimer

I was looking for a tune to learn on a sunny Sunday morning here in Wales and remembered the film West Virginia Hills about dulcimer players in West Virginia that used this tune over the credits. I looked up thetune on Google Images and quickly found a simple melody line version (that also happened to be in the key of D). So, with a cup of coffee to hand, I sat out in my garden and worked out the tune from the sheet music on the lovely shallow bodied A. W. Jeffreys dulcimer I have. Here is the music if anyone fancies trying out this version:

I angled my noter to play the F natural (shown as an E# on the music) but you can substitute an E natural. I'm using a wood noter and thumb strum in the recording below. \the dulcimer is in a regular 1-5-5 tuning just a little sharp of DAA.
