Thickness Sander
After resawing wood for tops, sides and bottoms, it seems like I need to sand them forever to get out the bandsaw blade marks. Was just looking at thickness sanders and it doe not look like there are any inexpensive ones out there...most commercial ones seem to be pushing $1K. However, I have seen LOTS of plans for DIY thickness sanders and I have an old chop saw motor or grinder motor that need a new job.
SO...anybody use a thickness sander? If so, did you make it your self? Where did you get your plans?
If not, how do you get rid of the resaw marks without putting many miles on the belt sander?
