Florida Bald Cypress

A continuation of an earlier discussion about effect of wood type on sound.

I purchased some bald cypress lumber from G. S. Monroe (a member) and wish to let anyone interested know that I am very pleased with the wood. The grain pattern is awesome and, while I'mnot sure how much wood type affects tone, they both sound very good.

I recommend the wood and Mr. Monroe highly.
