Chandelier (played by Sam Edelston)
Say what you want about a lot of popular music, but this was high on the pop charts over the summer, and the deeper you look, the more incredible the song is.
It's by an Australian singer who just goes by the name Sia. It's about someone who is suffering on the inside, but acts wild and crazy to hide her pain, even as shes holding on for dear life. Though her hit version shows some of the "wild and crazy," I went for the dark inner view here.
Recording this video, I found myself thinking about someone who was friends with my kids. He seemed like the happiest and most promising young man in town, but we didnt know about the inner demons he was fighting. He didnt hold on. Coincidentally, that was two years ago, today.
This video is dedicated to his memory.
