Dan Doty dulcimer question

I am new to learning the dulcimer.  I had bought one years ago in 1981 or so and I don't even remember where or how I got it.  It is a Dan Doty dulcimer and was wondering if anyone could tell me if it is an ok one?  Like to know a little about it.
