A Tale of Two Halls of Fame
A few years ago, I was in Cleveland, and I got to spend an afternoon at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. Actually, to tell the truth, in 3-4 hours, I didn't get past the first big room downstairs -- but then, that's what I'm like in a museum on a topic I'm interested in. To my surprise, they had not only a dulcimer from Joni Mitchell, but also one from the Rolling Stones. (Used on Lady Jane and a few other songs.)
Fast forward to this past summer: After 40+ years, I finally got to Nashville for the first time. I got to visit the Country Music Hall of Fame. They didn't have any dulcimers on display, as far as I could tell.
So I wrote them a song.

PS - I know this song is country, not rock, but (A) I didn't see a Country Music group, and (B) the Rock group knows me.
