Where to buy wood for building dulcimers?

Hello,

I live in Montreal, Canada and I am trying to build a mountain dulcimer. My local lumberyard doesn’t sell any 1/8inch thick wood and told me that they can’t cut wood that thin. Does anyone have any suggestions for where to buy wood in Canada to make dulcimers or for US suppliers that ship to Canada?
