Tempo

I recorded a song (a very beginner song)....however, when playing it back, I couldn't believe how slow I was playing (it's painfully slow)

I think what's slowing me down is getting the chords correctly...and there aren't a whole lot of chords in any particular song.....I'm not sure how y'all move your fingers so quickly with chords...any suggestions or exercises for that?   Thanks!

PS for what it's worth, I'm 5 days out in playing with a dulcimer, following along in the book that came with it.....not sure how much more my better half can listen to Mary had a Little Lamb or London Bridges LOL
