A few folks here at FOTMD know that I was working on a hammered dulcimer and wanted to see pictures of the finished product. It is a gift for my daughter and son-in-law. The back, top and bottom rails, and end block overlays are walnut. The top is Honduran mahogany. The bridges and end blocks are hard maple. The rosettes are birch plywood. It is a 15/14 made using the plans from the book Hammered Dulcimer - From Tree to Tune .

I have tuned it twice and it is beginning to hold well. A few more tunings and this should be very stable.

Now I will have time to get back to building mountain dulcimers.
