Starting a new dulcimer

I got started on my next dulcimer- of Purple Heart )Tuning Head, Fret Board and Tail; Cherry top and African Mahogany sides and bottom.

I had seven lovely hours today at the work bench carving the tuning scroll. This guy will have Banjo Tuners, my first dulcimer to sport machine tuners, which should be nice.
