Current build

Here are some photos as I near the completion of this project. The dulcimer body is made of Paduk which my luthier friend gave me. He is making two guitars from Paduk and gave me some leftovers he had. It was enough to make this dulcimer. The top is some cedar I have had in my garage for 35 to 40 years. The fret board is not attached as I still need to cut the slots and install the frets. Once I do that, I will put a finish on it. I hope to get a photo of the dulcimer with its two guitar cousins.
