Replacing a nut and floating bridge

I have a dulcimer that my husband put together from a kit in the 70s. It has a floating bridge which I would like to replace with a permanent bridge. The grooves in the nut are too deep as it was made of a soft wood that allowed the strings to continue to cut into it. Any advice on where to purchase these replacements and how to go about getting this accomplished would be appreciated.
