Easy instructions on changing strings on a flathead dulcimer

I have had a heck of a time locating easy to read and understand instructions on the simple task of putting a new string on my dulcimer. Most instructions online are with open heads or scroll heads. I understand putting the loop on the pin and the end of the string in the post but beyond that it is unclear. How do you do it?
