This has been asked before no doubt - I'm going to be traveling and taking my Ron Ewing Baritone Dulcimette with me. It is tuned AEa (octave up from a full-size baritone). I'm trying to figure out the chord shapes for common chords. If I leave the tuning in AEa, but play (for ex) frets 4-4-4, is this now an E chord? All the shapes that I know for DAd on a standard dulcimer, do I just play those shapes, realizing that my chords are now 1/5th higher? (D chord is now E, Em chord is now Bm, etc?)
