I wanted to let everyone know that I won the Galax Old Fiddler’s Convention dulcimer contest again for the third year in a row. I play traditional style with a noter and a pick.
I also won the “Best All Around Performer Award”. This is given to the contestant with the highest score out of ALL of the instrumental categories. This is the first time in the in the 88 year history of the festival that a dulcimer has won best all around.
